PNW Pollinator Plantable Art: Coastal Resilience in Every Bloom

Give a gift that tells a story of art, science, and habitat restoration. Our PNW Pollinator plantable art is the perfect zero-waste gift or favor, designed specifically for the unique climate of Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia.

Handmade Artisanal Craftsmanship Forget big-box retail trinkets. Every piece of our plantable art is 100% handmade from recycled materials. We use custom molds, handset type, and hand-painting techniques to create truly unique, artisanal pieces where no two are exactly alike.

+2

The PNW Pollinator Blend This paper isn't just beautiful; it's a biologist-approved restoration tool. We’ve embedded it with our Pacific Northwest native seed blend, specifically chosen to support local digger bees, hummingbirds, and early-season pollinators. When you plant this paper, you'll be growing:

  • Cornflower, Wallflower, and Dwarf Godetia

  • Farewell-to-Spring and Lance-leaf Coreopsis

  • Plains Coreopsis, Larkspur, and Sweet William

  • California Poppy and Blanket Flower

  • Candy Tuft, Phlox, and Flax

  • Sweet Alyssum, Red Poppy, and Black Eyed Susan

Soil-Building & Zero-Waste To give these seeds the absolute best chance at survival, our paper is infused with nutrient-rich compost tea. When planted under a thin layer of soil, the recycled paper acts as a moisture-retaining mulch that breaks down naturally, feeding your soil while the seeds germinate.

How to Grow: Simply place the art on bare soil, cover lightly with 1/8 inch of dirt, and water thoroughly. Keep the soil moist during germination, and watch your local ecosystem come to life!

The Handmade Difference

Because our plantable art is completely handmade using traditional handset type and custom molds, no two pieces are exactly alike. Please note that slight variations in color, shape, and the exact letterpress saying may occur from batch to batch, ensuring you receive a truly one-of-a-kind artisanal gift. To browse our full, ever-changing inventory and discover exclusive designs, be sure to visit us in person at our local vendor events and farmers markets! We are also your partners for custom projects. If you need specific shapes, custom handset type, or tailored color palettes for an event, please reach out to us at redericksales@gmail.com to discuss your specific needs.
